The UP Super TET 2026 syllabus remains a comprehensive test of both your academic knowledge and professional teaching skills. As of early 2026, the exam continues to be an objective-type offline test consisting of 150 questions to be completed in 150 minutes.

Here is the updated subject-wise breakdown and the detailed topics you need to cover.

Detailed Subject-Wise Syllabus

1. Languages (Hindi, English & Sanskrit)

This section is the highest scoring. It tests your basic grammar and comprehension.

·         Hindi: व्याकरण, अपठित गद्यांश, पद्यांश, संधि, समास, अलंकार, मुहावरे।

·         English: Grammar, Active/Passive Voice, Direct/Indirect Speech, Parts of Speech, Punctuation, Vocabulary.

·         Sanskrit: व्याकरण, शब्द रूप, धातु रूप, अनुवाद।

2. Mathematics & Science

·         Math: Numerical ability, Fractions, Decimals, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Interest, Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics. (Level: Up to Class 12).

·         Science: Daily life science, Motion, Force, Energy, Light, Sound, Human Body, Health & Nutrition, and Matter.

3. General Knowledge & Current Affairs

·         National and International current events.

·         Important Personalities, Books & Authors, Awards, and Sports.

·         Art and Culture of India and Uttar Pradesh.

4. Teaching & Psychology (Professional Skills)

·         Teaching Methodology: Teaching methods and skills, Principles of learning, inclusive education, and educational evaluation.

·         Child Psychology: Individual differences, factors affecting child development, and identification of learning needs.

·         Life Skills: Professional conduct and ethics, Motivation, the Role of a teacher (Facilitator/Guide), and Constitutional values.

5. Reasoning & IT

·         Reasoning: Analogies, Coding-Decoding, Venn Diagrams, Blood Relations, and Number Series.

·         IT: Use of computers, internet, smartphones, Open Education Resources (OER), and digital teaching tools.


Important Preparation Notes

·         Eligibility: You must have qualified for UPTET or CTET to appear for Super TET.

·         Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the current 2026 pattern.

·         Difficulty Level: While primary subjects are aligned with the 12th-grade difficulty, teaching-related subjects are based on the D.El.Ed/B.Ed curriculum.
